Pavilions and pergolas have no lower rails for a more open feel: a pavilion has a solid, closed roof, while a pergola has slatted roofing. A retractable canopy can be added to any pergola for extra shade and rain protection.

Yes — nearly any size can be considered. About 95% of structures fall within the options shown online and in the catalog, but our craftsmen are glad to work on the other 5% to create exactly what you want. Modifying the standard line may add some engineering and production time.

Should I add an electrical package?

About 90% of customers do, because it makes the outdoor room far more functional — lights, a ceiling fan, a TV or radio, even a blender. The wiring is concealed inside a post and through the roof for a clean, finished look. The package includes a switch and two receptacles.

Every structure needs a firm foundation. Many Mid-Atlantic customers use our own site-prep crew as a turnkey solution — a pier under each post, a crushed-stone foundation, or a concrete pad.
